MARICOPA -- A former Mesa police officer has been convicted of child molestation.
On Tuesday, a Pinal County jury found Justin Bowman guilty of 32 counts, which included child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and furnishing obscene materials to a minor.
Bowman, 31, of Maricopa, was convicted of crimes committed in 2008 against two children, a 10-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl.
Police found child pornography on his computer hard drive.
"I am satisfied with the conclusion of this case," said Pinal County Attorney James P. Walsh. "These were horrible crimes committed against very young children."
Bowman faces a sentence that could include 15 life terms.
