Armed robbery suspect quickly caught; Mistaken prison release still loose

An armed robbery late Monday morning at a popular restaurant and suspects are in custody.

It happened at about 11:30 Monday morning at El Guero Canelo on Oracle just north of Grant.

Police say two men entered the business -- one with a semi-automatic pistol.

They escaped in a late model car, but suspects matching their description were spotted just a few minutes later at a nearby convenience store.

The two were taken into custody.

The manhunt continues for a Pima County inmate after he walked out of jail over the weekend.

27-year-old Adrian Estrada Duran was mistakenly released from jail Saturday. Apparently the man they wanted to release has the same last name.

Duran is considered dangerous.

He was booked into jail Friday night for armed robbery and unlawful flight. If you've seen him, please call the Pima County Sheriff's department.
