PHOENIX – Thursday night’s Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals of the 2010 NBA Playoffs between the Suns-Lakers scored big in ratings, garnering a 20.8 rating and 34 share on TNT. In other words, one out of every three households watching television tuned in to the game.
This was the Suns’ highest rated game since May 16, 2007 when the team took on the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals (23.0 rating, 34 share).
The Suns are set to take on the Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday, May 29 at US Airways Center. The game will be broadcast nationally on TNT. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
The game will also be broadcast on the Suns radio home Sports 620 KTAR. Spanish language broadcasts will be available on KSUN – Radio Fiesta 1400 AM.
The game is sold out. However, tickets can still be obtained through the Suns TicketExchange on Suns.com. TicketExchange is a secure Suns-approved option to purchase tickets from Suns season ticket holders.
