PHOENIX -- The daughter of 3TV technical guru Tom Heidinger was treating her pet Lovebird 'Italo' to a day in the sun on a beautiful spring morning last week.

The 17-year-old Heidinger placed Italo's cage on a table in the backyard of their North Phoenix home and went on about her day.  A short time later, two suitors arrived...and they were on a mission.

Two wild lovebirds discovered Italo's cage and stopped by for a visit.  The two male crooners wooed Italo for nearly an hour and tried in vain to release their new-found-friend from captivity.  Heidinger caught some of the action in the gallery images above.  [view slideshow]
