Sarah Palin joins Gov. Brewer to launch border security Web sitePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Sarah Palin spoke out in support of Arizona's new immigration law Saturday. The former Alaska Governor was in Phoenix attending the Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation banquet.
Palin joined Arizona Governor Jan Brewer at a press conference where the two unveiled a new Web site aimed at informing the public about border security.
The site, which is being paid for by Brewer's gubernatorial campaign, urges visitors to sign a petition supporting Arizona SB1070 and provides contact information for organizations that are calling for a boycott of Arizona.
Earlier in the day, protesters who call themselves "the Freedom Riders" arrived from New Mexico and Texas. The group, which was organized by the Dallas-based League of United Latin American Citizens, protested outside the press conference and at Governor Brewer's home.
