3-Year-old Glendale boy dies after being pulled from swimming poolPosted: Updated:
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Glendale fire crews were called to an apartment complex near 61st Avenue and Northern Saturday evening. They were responding to the near drowining of a 3-year-old boy at the complex's swimming pool.
The boy was transferred to a nearby hospital Saturday night where he was initially listed in serious condition but later died.
According to Daniel Valenzuela, with the Glendale Fire Department, the toddler was swimming with his family at the time of the incident and family members had lost track of him for an unknown amount of time.
It is still unclear what led up to the incident but fire officials are continuing to investigate.
