Pastor Warren Stewart: "It's unfortunate that we're here again"

PHOENIX -- Crossing sports and politics is not always popular, especially here in Arizona. Two decades ago, protests over Arizona's failure to recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day led the NFL to pull the Super Bowl out of our state.

Pastor Warren Stewart from the First Institutional Baptist Church was one of those who led the protests over the MLK holiday issue.

He stopped by to chat with Scott Pasmore about Senate Bill 1070 and the similarities between what's happening now and what happened back then.

"We've been here before, 20-some years ago. It's unfortunate that we're here again," Stewart said.
