Ozone Health Watch, high of 96 on Tuesday; flirting with 100 this weekendPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- With temperatures in the 90s, we're under an Ozone Health Watch today. That means people who suffer from upper respiratory issues like asthma might be a bit more sensitive today. Those people should limit their time outside.
We're looking at nothing but sun for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
Our seasonal average for this time of year is about 89 degrees, so we are going to be a bit above that, even flirting with that 100-degree mark later come Saturday.
An area of low pressure should move through tomorrow. While that system won't bring any rain, the wind will be making a return to Arizona, especially the far northeast portion of the state.
Plan on a high of 94 degrees in Phoenix today, 98 tomorrow and 95 on Thursday. Looking ahead to the weekend, it's going to be a warm one with a high of 99 forecast on Saturday.
By Monday, we should drop back down to our seasonal average of 89.
