Beverly Kidd and BK Army volunteer for Habitat for Humanity

Posted: Updated:

3TV's Beverly Kidd and the BK Army teamed up this past weekend to volunteer and build a house for Habitat for Humanity. The BK Army is a group of Beverly Kidd fans and friends created by using the social media tool, Twitter. Founder Adan met Beverly on a story and from there created the BK Army twitter account which grew from a few tweets to social meet-ups on Sunday mornings. It was doing those social meet-ups that the BK Army decided to use their time to do something good. And, indeed the BK Army did something good. On May 1 from 6:30 am - 1:30 pm they volunteered their time to put a roof on the future home of the Shbur family.
