Biss is a quiet and easygoing house cat who has been searching since February for someone special to adore and spend her life cuddling with.

With a bold and colorful tortie speckled coat and her expressive eyes it is hard to imagine she has been overlooked for so many months. As the weeks pass by, Biss finds herself craving a family and a place to call her own.

This sweet girl is a laid-back 9-year-old, and unlike busy kittens, this middle-aged feline has plenty of free time in her schedule allowing her to devote plenty of time to those she loves most. She is very affectionate and soft back massages or being brushed will cause her to purr readily. Although she would never admit it, she is a bit of a bed hog and will crash out on the pillow next to yours but thankfully she doesn’t snore.

Biss would enjoy a home with children and other friendly felines, but she is very shy and skittish around dogs.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee has been reduced to just $20. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar, a pet carrier, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Biss, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A293568 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
