Vicki Barden, Boys & Girls Club of SCC, says the majority of the Club’s financial support is derived from the annual Fiesta de Mayo which concludes May 3 with “Carne Asada Monday” at Kino Springs.  She says the Produce Association hosts this event which offers both sit-down lunch and takeout.  She says it is hoped the event will do better this year.  She says participation was down last year due to swine flu warnings.
