Nurse performs CPR after high school student collapses in gymPosted: Updated:
GLENDALE -- A high school student was transported to a local hospital after collapsing in the gym Monday morning.
According to Karen Eubanks with the Tolleson Union High School District, the 17-year-old junior was in an advanced P.E. class when he had a seizure in the Copper Canyon High School gym.
The teen, whose name has not been released, had no vital signs and the school nurse attempted CPR.
The boy reportedly was non-responsive and was transported to Banner Estrella Hospital.
His condition is not known at this time.
