Race for the cure successPosted: Updated:
Pink was the color of the day Sunday for thousands of people who showed up at Reid park for the "Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure."
The breast cancer fundraiser was once again a huge success. Close to $1.5m was raised. The money will help fund "local" life-saving cancer programs. Many of the people who participated Sunday are breast cancer survivors.
More than 12,000 people ran in Sunday's race.
