RENO, Nev. -- The University of Nevada's basketball team has scheduled a home-and-home series with Arizona State beginning next season and is close to sealing a deal with Washington.

Wolf Pack coach David Carter says he's excited because it has been difficult to schedule teams from the Pac 10. There's also achance they could face UCLA next season as Nevada is joining the Bruins in a Preseason NIT regional tourney along with Pacific and Pepperdine.

Those matchups haven't been set yet.

Carter says Nevada will host Arizona State on Dec. 17 and then most likely hit the road to face the Sun Devils the following season.

Carter says they've nearly finalized a two-for-one deal with Washington in which the Wolf Pack would travel to Washington in the coming season, host the Huskies the next year and return to Seattle the year after that.
