Warming trend with a high of 86 on Thursday and 88 on Friday

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- We've got nothing but sun for the rest of the week and through the weekend.

Plan on a high of 80 today and an overnight low of 57. That 80 degrees is a little bit below average for this time of year.

We are going to see some pretty strong winds in parts of the state, mostly in the western and northwestern portions. There is a Lake Wind Advisory of Lake Havasu and Lake Mohave. That could mean dangerous boating conditions. Those winds should taper off as the days goes on.

It's going to be a bit warmer tomorrow -- 86 -- and then we're flirting with 90 on Friday. Temperatures should come back down a bit for the weekend, with a few clouds possibly moving in Sunday.

Looking ahead, we're watching a storm that could bring a chance of thunderstorms early next week.
