Bracing for a battle in border towns

It was a bloody 24 hours in Mexico--with attacks on military bases and several battles between gunmen and soldiers just south of the Texas border. Further west-- people are bracing for a weekend battle in Mexico.

The attacks have grown more brazen and more brutal with drug cartel commandos targeting federal police and now attacking military bases in Mexico.

It comes as the criminal organizations fight to expand.

Drug gangs have reportedly posted banners warning people to get out of some small Mexican border towns by Easter Sunday.

Across the border in Texas, the Hudspeth CSounty sheriff's department is on high alert. And warned ranchers in the remote area to arm themselves.
