Vicki Barden, Boys & Girls Club of SCC, says the Club provides a safe place for kids left alone after school or on the streets with no supervision. She says the majority of the Club’s funding comes from the annual Fiesta de Mayo. She says donations are still being accepted for the silent auction which precedes a banquet  Saturday, May 1 at Kino Springs Resort.  She says sponsors are also being sought.  Barden says all funds raised remain in Santa Cruz County.
