Native Trails - Southwest Native American Culture : Free Family Friendly Event
Native Trails is a free, family friendly event at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall in downtown Scottsdale that celebrates Native American culture in the Southwest through song & dance. Presented by Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation & produced by the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts &the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, Native Trails is entering final 2 weeks for the 2010 season & performances take place every Thurs. & Sat. thru April 10 from Noon to 1:30 p.m.  Royalty from Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation will be in attendance on April 3 & 10. Derrick Suwaima Davis, creative director for Native Trails, recently won his 5th World Champion Hoop Dance Title at the Heard Museum’s annual event. For more information visit or call  480-421-1004.
