Congresswoman Giffords reacts to vandalismPosted: Updated:
That act of vandalism and others against those who voted yes on health care reform. A big topic on the minds of politicians this week.
Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was not the only victim of angry vandals.
Thursday, for the first time, we heard from the Democrat about her concern for the safety of her staff, "I really worry about them. Because a lot of times, people at home tend to focus on staff and direct their anger toward them, and that's not right."
Giffords says in America voters have an opportunity to voice their opinion at the ballot box rather than resorting to violence.
We'll have more on the growing tension in Washington and hear more from Giffords coming up at 9:30.
