Rincon High principal firedPosted: Updated:
In a matter of minutes Rincon High School's principal, Kim Babeu, lost her job. There was no discussion -- just three votes for it and two against it.
The meeting started two hours late. Once board members took their seats, they immediately adjusted the agenda so the item involving Rincon principal Kim Babeu would be handled first. It wasn't the result many people were expecting. The vote was three to two in favor of her dismissal.
Babeu has been principal at Rincon High School for two years now. She arrived Tuesday night with her attorney.
In February she was put on paid administrative leave following allegations of discrimination happening at the school as well as an alleged improper relationship Babeu had with another employee.
