Two Tucson men Arrested
for Vehicle Burglaries
On Thursday, March 18, during the afternoon hours, officers were investigating four vehicle burglaries, all with the same method of entry. This time, officers were armed with a vehicle and suspect(s) description.
A Sierra Vista Police Officer found the suspect vehicle in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot, on S. Hwy. 92 and contact was made with Christopher T. MacPhee, 38, of Tucson and Jesus Gallardo, 33, also from Tucson. At the time of the arrest, officers were able to connect the two with as many as four local vehicle burglaries and later, were able to connect them to burglaries in the Tucson area.
The two were arrested for four counts each of Vehicle Burglary and Criminal Damage. MacPhee was also charged with Driving with a Suspended License. Later in the evening, Street Crimes Detectives served a Search Warrant in the 10 blk. of Freihage. Items consistent with Tucson burglaries were found in the residence and contact with TPD has been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
