PHOENIX -- We're looking at isolated shower activity off and on throughout the Valley, as well as some pretty high winds today.
We should top out at 77 degrees in the Valley today, with chances of rain in the forecast.There were some ominous clouds hovering over many parts of the Phoenix Metro area.
Wind speeds are a factor in how today's weather will play out, especially in western Arizona. A wind gust in Bullhead City was clocked at 39 mph at about 6 a.m. Wind advisories were in place for a good portion of western Arizona.
A cold front that's pushing through the state is what's responsible for this.
Tomorrow morning is the first official day of spring. Plan on a sunny day with a high of about 76; 80 degrees on Sunday and 83 on Monday. That's a bit above our seasonal average.
