PHOENIX -- Nikki Stone won a gold medal in inverted aerial skiiing at the Nagano Olympic Games in 1998, becoming America's first ever Olympic champion in the sport, but it almost didn't happen.

Stone tells Kaley O'Kelley about the injury that almost sidelined her, and about the secrets to her success, which she details in her new book, "When Turtles Fly."

"You can choose to be a victim or you can choose to be a victor," Stone said during the interview.
