FLAGSTAFF (AP) -- A park employee at the Grand Canyon has been federally charged with possessing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Flagstaff said park staff found a cell phone on March 6 containing 14 images of young boys in sexual situations.

The owner of the phone made contact with park employees and arranged to pick up his phone.

The Arizona Daily Sun reports a federal investigator was dispatched to a Grand Canyon dormitory to talk with the cell phone owner.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said that during a conversation with the investigator, the cell phone owner admitted to possessing numerous images of child pornography. The worker said he brought the pornography across state lines when he moved from his job at Yellowstone National Park.

Prosecutors said Timothy D. Veach was charged with one count of possessing images of child pornography.
