Parents of students at an east side elementary school voted not to merge with another campus nearby creating difficult money management issues.
The prinicipal of Steele Elementary hosted a budget session Tuesday evening. Steele's budget faces cuts somewhere between four and ten percent, depending on what state lawmakers leave in the till for Arizona's education system. He's looking for suggestions on where to cut school expenses, with nothing but bad options.
