Hundreds of churches in Tucson have decided to join together to for a special project, they hope will tremendously help people in need.
A 12-day campaign known as the Street Challenge will put one member from one of the nearly 900 churches in our area on a street corner in May. The goal is to offer spiritual, physical or financial help to anyone who needs it.
Debi Zaida says she's helping because, at one time she needed help herself, "It totally changed my life. Totally turned my life around. I quit doing drugs. I was doing everything. I just totally changed and it was amazing."
The "Street Challenge" campaign is scheduled to run for 12-days in May.
