TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb says he felt 'stagnant' in his latest bullpen session and is frustrated he hasn't mustered much intensity in his rehabilitation.

Webb, recovering from shoulder surgery that kept him out of all but the opening game last season, threw 45 pitches on Thursday
before Arizona's spring training opener against Colorado.

Manager A.J. Hinch says Webb remains on track in his recovery plan, even if the right-hander isn't satisfied with the way he feels.

Webb says it was his eighth bullpen session, the last three in Tucson. Webb hopes to pitch in a spring training game in about two weeks. He is tentatively penciled in to start the third game of the regular season against San Diego on April 7.
