Rodeo parade hits the streets of Tucson Thursday

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- The 85th annual Tucson Rodeo Parade begins Thursday morning. The parade starts at 9 a.m. at South Park Avenue and East Fair Street.

Horse riders, buggies, wagons and bands will proceed south on Park Avenue to Irvington Road, and then west to South 6th Avenue, ending at the fairgrounds.

Tucson police say traffic restrictions will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m.
