Scottsdale police arrest man after computer techs find porn on laptop

SCOTTSDALE -- Scottsdale police arrested a man after child pornography was found on his computer while it was being repaired.

Philip Blaine, 29, took his laptop to the Microsoft Store at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall for repair on Tuesday. Technicians discovered child pornographic images on the computer and notified police, who discovered several videos depicting juveniles under the age of 15 conducting sexual acts.

Blaine was contacted and confessed to searching for, viewing and downloading videos of child pornography.

Blaine was charged with several counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Victims in the videos were not identified.
