Carter pleaded guilty in September 2009 to attempted receipt of child pornography.

Additionally, 29-year-old Marc William Lowe of Phoenix was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in September to transportation of child pornography.

In the plea agreement, Lowe acknowledged sending graphic child pornographic video over the Internet.
