Phoenix man indicted in mother's deathPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say a Phoenix man has been indicted in connection with the death of his 85-year-old mother last month.
Maricopa County prosecutors say a grand jury indicted 55-year-old Robert Troutt on charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, drug possession and resisting arrest.
Phoenix police responded to a 911 call from the victim on Jan. 18 and rushed Eva Fitzgerald to a hospital. She later died of her injuries and police arrested Troutt in the case.
