Glendale police asking for public's help in identifying bank robber

GLENDALE - The Glendale Police Department is looking for the public’s help in locating a bank robber.

The suspect robbed the National Bank of Arizona near 98th Avenue and Camelback Road on Friday afternoon.

According to police the man walked up to the teller and demanded money. A weapon was never spotted, but he did threaten to pull one if the money wasn’t handed over.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s, 5’9’’, weighing approximately 225 pounds, with short blond hair, a tattoo on the back of his neck and a tattoo of a red iron cross on the left side of his neck.

The suspect was seen fleeing in a maroon late model Honda Accord.
