Sun Devils, Wildcats renew rivalry in TucsonPosted: Updated:
The Arizona State Sun Devils have a realistic shot at their first Pac-10 title as they head into the stretch run.
But the Sun Devils have an uphill climb to the top, starting with Sunday's game against Arizona in McKale Center.
ASU (18-8, 8-5 Pac-10) is in second place, one game behind California with five remaining. The Wildcats (13-12, 7-6) are tied for fourth, two games off the pace.
ASU plays its next three games on the road - at Arizona, Stanford and California - before closing with USC and UCLA at home. ASU has already lost to four of its five remaining opponents, including a 19-point drubbing by Arizona on Jan. 23 in Tempe.
