SCOTTSDALE -- Scottsdale police arrested a woman who allegedly hit four parked vehicles while driving a stolen cab early Monday morning.

Police say Genevieve Pflug, 24, had been drinking and had gotten into a verbal altercation with her boyfriend before entering a cab near Sixth Avenue and Scottsdale Road just after midnight.

As the cab began to pull away, Pflug exited the rear of the moving vehicle. When the driver stopped to help her back into the cab, Pflug got into the driver's seat and drove off at a high rate of speed.

According to the Scottsdale Police Department, the cab struck four parked vehicles in the area of Third Avenue and Indian School Road where it came to rest. Pflug ran from the scene but was caught several blocks away.

Pflug was arrested and booked on counts of auto theft, aggravated DUI, drug possession, and hit-and-run.
