AHS Pet of the Week - Eros

Eros means “love” in Greek, and this 1-Year-old Chihuahua is simply in love with life. Leaping onto the couch with great enthusiasm, this affectionate doggie is always happy to join the family and watch the Olympic Games while snuggling on the couch. Although he enjoys down time, this restless pooch is passionate about playtime and like a pin ball machine, he will bounce and bound around the yard moving at lightning speeds while hurdling over furniture obstacles.

Eros is partially housetrained, needing only a little more help from his new companion. He loves to zip around the yard playing “tag” with other mischievous dogs but a family meet-and-greet is required.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Eros, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A292721 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
