Police looking for 3 suspects in Tucson slayingPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police say they are searching for three men who are suspected in a slaying.
Police officers were called to an apartment complex Wednesday night in reference to a shooting and found 31-year-old Nicholas "JD" Martin suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to University Medical Center where he died a short time later.
Investigators say three men knocked on the door of Martin's apartment and then forced their way inside. A struggle ensued and Martin was shot before the suspects fled the scene. Police say they have descriptions of the three suspects and were searching for them Thursday.
