3-Car crash injures 3 kids and 3 adults in central Phoenix

PHOENIX – Three children and three adults are injured after a three-car crash at a central Phoenix intersection.
Phoenix Fire Capt. Dorian Jackson tells 3TV the collision involved two cars and a van and took place at about 5:30 on Tuesday evening at 10th Street and Missouri.
Details from Glendale Fire indicate the children involved in the collision are 9, 10 and 11 years old. They all suffered serious injuries.
A man and two women were also transported to the hospital. Rescue crews tell 3TV the kids were riding in the van that was hit on the side where the children were sitting. It is unknown if they were wearing their safety belts.
The cause of the crash has not been determined. The intersection was closed while detectives conducted their investigation into the collision.
