Huskies have home court, Holiday against ArizonaPosted: Updated:
SEATTLE (AP) -- Defending Pac-10 champion Washington got destroyed when it played Arizona and Arizona State last month.
In the return games this weekend, the Huskies have two huge differences going for them as they try to keep their conference title and postseason hopes alive.
They are at home, where they are 32-2 the last two seasons. And they will have Justin Holiday.
Holiday missed that Arizona trip because of academic technicalities. But he will start Thursday night's game against conference co-leader Arizona.
Quincy Pondexter is Washington's leading scorer, but the Huskies' only senior says Washington's postseason hopes start with defense.
And he says that means depending on the relentless, long-armed Holiday.
