Tempe Community Action Agency – Home Delivered Meals for Seniors & Disabled
Tempe Community Action Agency provided over 58,000 meals through the Home Delivered Meals program this past year. 80% of the Home Delivered Meal participants report that the meal they receive is their main meal for the day. The typical Home Delivered Meal participant is over 75 years of age, makes less than $900/ month, and lives alone.  The Home Delivered Meals program provides more than just a meal, the volunteers & staff provide a friendly face as well as wellness check for many of the participants who live alone.
