Friends of fallen officer talk to 3TV about his legacy; funeral services planned

UPDATE: Funeral services have been set for Officer Shuhandler. The visitation will be held Tuesday 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Sinai Mortuary 4538 N. 16th Street in Phoenix. The funeral is set for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Westworld in Scottsdale with a procession to Sinai Cemetery.
GILBERT - Officer Shuhandler, killed during a traffic stop, was a 16-year veteran of the Gilbert Police Department and his legacy will live among his fellow officers.
Shuhandler, who became well known throughout the country when he handled information about the DUI arrest of former NBA great Charles Barkley, is the second Arizona law-enforcement officer killed in the line of duty in a little more than a month.

Shuhandler is survived by his ex-wife and two daughters, ages 10 and 12, as well as his sisters and parents.
