Suspect accused of sexually molesting at least 2 male teensPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – A man accused of sexually molesting at least two male teenagers is behind bars.
Police say Alexander Trujillo was the suspect in a sexual conduct with a minor case in 2005 but disappeared before he could be arrested. The victim was a 14-year-old boy.
On January 18 Trujillo was identified as a suspect in another sexual conduct with a minor case, this time involving a 15-year-old victim who was 14 at the time of the alleged crimes.
Phoenix police say that in both cases Trujillo befriended the teens and gained their trust before molesting them. The suspect also allegedly gave the boys marijuana and also videotaped some of the sexual acts during an incident that took place this year.
Trujillo was arrested on Monday after work as he arrived at his motor home. Detectives served a search warrant and seized evidence.
Police believe there may be more victims that have not come forward. Any more people who feel they have been victimized by the suspect are encouraged to contact police.
Trujillo faces 4 counts of sexual conduct with a minor for the 2005 case and 5 counts of sexual conduct with a minor for this year’s case. Also filed are charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sexual conduct with a minor.
