Slick roads possibly to blame for brutal wreck in PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Three people, one of them a juvenile, were rushed to the hospital after a brutal wreck on the rain-slicked streets of Phoenix early Friday morning.
It happened at about 1 a.m. at Seventh Street and Northern Avenue. That intersection is closed while police conduct their investigation.
Two female passengers from one of the vehicles suffered major injuries. One of those passengers reportedly is a juvenile.
One of the drivers was also hurt, both those injuries were believed to be relatively minor.
It's not clear yet if alcohol was a factor in the wreck. Police believe the weather might be partially to blame.
Officers did not know when that intersection would reopen.
