NEW ORLEANS - Good morning from very chilly, foggy, rainy New Orleans.

I'm currently sitting at the world famous Cafe du Monde.

Saints fans have been here since the crack of dawn singing, clapping and of course drinking coffee.

The mood in New Orleans about that game can only be described as guarded optimism.

The Saints at one point were 13-0, but they lost their last three games and two of those were here in New Orleans.

Plus, fans here got a front row seat last week in front of their televisions as the Cardinals hung 51 on the league's number two defense.

The Saints have a limited history of winning in the playoffs and you can sense fans here aren't real sure how this game will play out later today.

As for the Cardinals they're still at their team hotel, but they'll depart for the Superdome in a couple of hours.

Anquan Boldin and Gerald Hayes are not expected to play but who knows, maybe they'll awake today feeling and moving better.

Enjoy the game everyone and I can tell you this, every Saints fan has one question for all of you back on the Valley. Who dat?
