Police searching for suspect in Phoenix homicide

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are trying to locate a suspect involved in a homicide Friday evening in the area of 1100 N. 29th Street.

It started when officers responded to a shots fired call. Once they arrived on the scene, they found a Hispanic female on the sidewalk.

Jessica Enriquez, 25,  had been shot several times. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Witnesses said they saw a Hispanic male standing over the victim holding what looked like a gun. That male was seen leaving the area in a cream colored newer model passenger vehicle heading eastbound.

The Hispanic male was seen wearing a white long-sleeve T-shirt.
