Sheriff's deputies hurt in crash that caused their car to rollPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – Two sheriff’s deputies are in the hospital after a car crash in Phoenix.
Aaron Douglas, with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, says off-duty deputies who were in their own private vehicle were returning from lunch before the collision.
The deputies were reportedly traveling westbound on Grant when a car heading northbound on 17th Avenue struck their vehicle and caused it to roll.
The sheriff’s deputies were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Phoenix police are investigating the crash.
