The following is a news release from the Arizona Cardinals Football Club.

TEMPE -– Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, many details of the NFL playoff picture remain unknown. And while the Cardinals do not yet know whether their first game of the postseason will be on Wild Card weekend (Jan. 9-10) or in the Divisional round (Jan. 16-17), they do know they will be playing it at University of Phoenix Stadium. The specific day and time will not be determined until after Sunday’s games.

Tickets for that playoff game will go on sale next Monday for those in Arizona and on Tuesday everywhere else.

CARDS PLAYOFF TICKET INFORMATION: Starting on Monday at 7:00 AM (Arizona time) Cardinals playoff tickets will be available exclusively on-line and only to Arizona residents. These tickets can be purchased at and are available to customers with Arizona billing addresses only.

On Tuesday at 7:00 AM, tickets will be available nationwide through Ticketmaster by phone and on-line. At 8:30 AM, fans can purchase tickets in person at the Cardinals Tempe Training Facility box office and at the University of Phoenix Stadium box office. They will also be available in-person at participating Ticketmaster outlets (hours vary by location).

There will be a limit of 8 tickets on all transactions.

PLAYOFF SCENARIOS: Arizona receives the NFC’s #2 seed and a first-round bye if these three things happen on Sunday: Giants win in Minnesota (11:00 AM), Cards defeat Green Bay; Dallas wins at home vs. Philadelphia (both 2:15 PM).

If the first two happen but the Eagles win in Dallas, Arizona would host the Cowboys in the Wild Card round. All other scenarios have the Cardinals hosting Green Bay in a Wild Card game next weekend.

A #2 seed and first-round bye mean that the Cards would open the postseason at home in the Divisional round against the higher of the two remaining NFC seeds (#3 Dallas, #4 Minnesota, #4 Philadelphia or #5 Green Bay).
