White Christmas for some parts of Arizona? Cold mornings ahead...

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- This is probably a last mild morning before temperatures drop, making for cold overnight and early morning temperatures over the next several days.

A winter storm is moving into the state, bringing with it rain and wind for the Valley and snow for the high country.

Showers are possible today with breezy conditions that will give way to wind tonight. In fact, a wind warning will go into effect for some areas later tonight. Those winds could gust up to 35mph overnight. Along with an increased chance of rain, there's also a chance of thunderstorms.

Plan on overnight lows of 36 to 43 degrees.

It's going to be chilly tomorrow, with high not going beyond the upper 50s. We'll see more of the same through Christmas Day, and then a little bit warmer for the weekend.
