Eight people robbed at gunpoint in Phoenix park

PHOENIX -- Police say three men robbed robbed eight people at gunpoint in a Phoenix park Sunday afternoon. Two of those suspects are still at large.

It happened at Circle K Park, 1300 E. South Mountain Avenue, at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Police say one of the victims called police and followed the suspects' vehicle as it left the park. One suspect was dropped off near 11th Avenue and Lynn Lane and was immediately taken into custody by responding patrol units.

The other two suspects abandoned their vehicle near 14th and Sunland avenues. Police established a perimeter and searched the area, but did not find the men.

Police have identified those two suspects but are not yet releasing that information.
