Jasper is a fun-loving Australian Shepherd mix who is exceptionally sweet. At the rambunctious age of three, he hopes to find a forever home with a human friend who lives an active lifestyle and enjoys a good adventure and exploring everything that is interesting in the world.

Jasper is very attentive to his humans, and this affectionate canine is always eager to receive a belly rub or an ear scratches from any dog lover. When he is craving an ear scratch, he will sit quietly in front of those he loves most and patiently wait for someone to pet him. He will repay them with soft doggie kisses.

When Jasper isn’t soaking up attention, he likes to show off his athletic abilities by playing a game of fetch or going for a long stroll around the neighborhood. He is excellent on a leash and has mastered the “heel” command. He also knows “sit” and “down and he is housetrained.

Jasper enjoys the companionship of not only two-legged companions but also the four-legged kind as well. Bring both the kids and your current canine down to the shelter to meet Jasper and see if he is the right match.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam.
