Tucson man wrongfully convicted, set free

After 28 years behind bars an innocent man in Tucson is set free.

Donald gates was wrongfully convicted of raping and killing a Washington D.C. college student in 1981. Now, DNA evidence clears his name.

The two key witnesses in his trial were a paid jailhouse informant and a lab technician later exposed as a liar.

Gates could be compensated $50,000 a year for each year he spent in prison.
